Ladies and gents who love grooving to Punjabi songs at every wedding ever, the reprised version of one of your all-time favourite NRI wedding anthems is here. So, rejoice! The latest track of Namaste England, ‘Bhare Bazaar’ has been Badshah-fied as per modern Bollywood traditions, and remains almost as fun as the original by Rishi Rich!
Sung by Vishal Dadlani and Payal Dev, ‘Bhare Bazaar’ is basically a Bollywood dance number amped up by the most buoyant Punjabi beats you can think of, with a dash of EDM tadka on the side.Director of Namastey London and London Dreams, Vipul Shah, who clearly has a fascination for the land of our one-time colonisers, will be helming this Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer. Namaste England is technically the sequel to Namastey London, even though all the characters, story, and setting seem different. Arjun plays the character of Param who follows his wife, Parineeti’s Jasmeet, when she decides to leave behind the shackles of patriarchy to chase her dreams.
Given that it was a Guy Ritchie film that inspired him once to be a filmmaker, we’re curious about what Arjun’s style of filmmaking would be if he ever does make a film. Well if destiny has it in store for him, he might just get his chance to be behind the camera one day, when Bollywood is ready for a film like that perhaps.
